HISTORY SOCIETY Elie and Earlsferry History Society will present a talk by Glenn Jones in the Church Hall, Elie, at 7.30pm today.

The talk will be about the SS Avondale Park, the last U-boat attack of the First World War, close to Isle of May.

COMMUNITY COUNCIL The North Glenrothes Community Council meets today at 7pm in Cadham Neighbourh­ood Centre.

On the agenda will be the ongoing A92 campaign and the redevelopm­ent of the Tullis Russell site.

LIVE MUSIC Live music sessions at The Boudingait in Cupar continue from 9pm today.

Admission is free and visitors can take their own instrument­s.

HISTORIC BUILDINGS Markinch Heritage Group meets at 7pm today in the 252 Memorial Hall, Betson Street.

Historic Environmen­t Scotland architectu­ral historian Simon Green will give a talk on recording Fife’s historic buildings.

AROUND BRITAIN Ken Reid will give a talk on his 2016 tandem ride around the British Isles to raise funds for RNIB Talking Books in Aberdour today.

It starts at 10.30am in St Fillan’s Church Hall, High Street.

DRAWING SESSIONS Drawing for fun, five weekly drawing taster sessions led by Rosie Gibson, start at 7pm today in Marker, High Street, Inverkeith­ing.

SINGING GROUP A singing group for women, led by Tony Pearce, meets at 8.15pm today in the Woodside Hotel, Aberdour.

They are preparing to take part in the Fife music festival in February. All are welcome.
