Delays for commuters following morning of road accidents
A lorry crash on one of Fife’s busiest roads brought delays for commuters during yesterday’s morning rush hour.
The HGV crashed into a barrier on the A92, near the Crossgates Junction, at around 9am.
Emergency services were sent to the scene and lane restrictions were put in place on both the east and westbound carriageways for several hours while the vehicle was recovered. The driver is understood to have escaped serious injury. Meanwhile, no serious injuries were reported following a collision between a Toyota Hilux pickup and Ford Fiesta on the A985 near Rosyth yesterday morning.
