Dundee Civic Trust’s monthly talk will take place on Thurs­day, Jan­uary 18, at Dundee Art So­ci­ety, 17 Rosean­gle, when Si­mon Green will give his lively cel­e­bra­tion of Cam­per­down House, provoca­tively en­ti­tled The Scot­tish Blen­heim?

Cam­per­down House is one of the most im­por­tant Greek Re­vival houses in Scot­land and the talk will also cover the work of its ar­chi­tect, Wil­liam Burn.

Si­mon Green is an ar­chi­tec­tural his­to­rian work­ing in His­toric En­vi­ron­ment Scot­land and is also re­search­ing the ar­chi­tec­ture of the Ba­ro­nial and Arts and Crafts move­ments in Scot­land. He is the Pres­i­dent of the Ar­chi­tec­tural Her­itage So­ci­ety of Scot­land.

The talk starts at 7pm and is open to all, with a small charge for non­mem­bers. A glass of wine is in­cluded.
