Noull travel to tackle leaders

-

Due to burst pipes at Tulloch Park, Kinnoull’s fixture with Blairgowrie has been postponed, so the Perth side will now travel to leaders North End.

The Dokens were scheduled to be away to Forfar Albion but Guthrie Park was clearly unplayable as early as midweek.

The home side will be trying to extend their run of 10 successive league wins and, other than Michael Stewart, have a full squad available.

The Perth side are without Tom and Greg Whyte, Jordan Davidson and keeper Macaulay Jarret and two hoped-for new signings have failed to materialise.

Violet’s visit to Coupar Angus has been switched to Glenesk Park.

New Pansies boss John Dunn saw his side in action for the first time in Tuesday’s friendly against Broughty and, despite losing 5-0, he was happy to see his players get a run out.

He said: “I was disappointed our game against Forfar Albion was postponed but we have to push on and catch North End at the top.”

Though sixth, Luncarty are still very much in the promotion frame and will be out to maintain an unblemished home record against an East Craigie side that has gone off the boil.

The Bleachers should have everyone available, as do the Shipbuilders.

After being hit for six by North End last week, Arbroath Vics have another tough fixture with the visit of Scone Thistle, who are just four points off the top.

Vics will make a late selection, while Thistle should have a full-strength squad.

In the all-Fife affair at Lochore, Newburgh are the visitors.

With seven returning, the hosts are virtually back to full strength to take on a side that hasn’t seen competitive action for almost two months.

Blairgowrie’s rearranged match with Forfar Albion was called off yesterday as Davie Park is unplayable.
