Heifers (21) to 260p for a 529kg Limousin from Nethermyre­s and bought by JB Penman, Crail, and also to £1,480.56 for a 597kg Limousin from West Bog and bought by Scott Bros, Dundee, to ave 230p.

United Auctions (Stirling) The BFL female show and sale champion was a gimmer from Mrs I Sharp, Newbigging Walls, Lauder. It was bought by S Fallows, Brunton Farm, New Cumnock, for 1,200gn.

Reserve was a ewe lamb from C&D Hall, Lilyburn, Penicuik. It was bought by AJ Steedman, 17 Old Nursery, Kippen, for 1,400gn.

Top price was 2,800gn for a gimmer from J Wight & Sons, Midlock, Crawford, bought by J Kay & Son, Hartside, Lammermuir, Oxton.

Gimmers (12) sold to 2,800gn and ave £781.38.

Ewe hoggs (4) sold to 1,400gn and ave £682.50.
