Dundonald took full advantage of Penicuik being held and went above the Edinburgh side into second place with a 3-0 win at Kennoway Star Hearts.

Broughty Athletic boss Jamie McCunnie has freshened up his squad with the addition of former Cowdenbeath striker Jordan Garden and the loan signing of Gregor Robertson from Tayport.

Dayle Robertson and Ryan Suttie, meanwhile, have joined Tayport on loan.

Broughty’s trip to Camelon was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

East Premier League

Due to postponements St Andrews United were the only club from the area in Premier League action.

Despite dominating the game for long periods and being the better team over the piece, Saints returned to Fife with nothing after Haddington came from behind to win 3-1.

St Andrews took the lead after nine minutes through Ryan McInnes.

Paul Devlin levelled things five minutes from half-time.

It was looking like Saints would take a point despite spurning several chances.

However, Stephen Scott to put Haddington in front four minutes from time.

Andy Jones made sure in stoppage time with a third to put a real dent in the Fifers’ promotion hopes.
