Hotel adds its tourism expertise

Fife Chamber of Commerce has welcomed a North Queensferr­y hotel as its latest Premier Partner.

The Doubletree by Hilton Edinburgh – Queensferr­y Crossing is on the shores of the Forth.

It is felt the hotel’s tourism expertise will be a welcome addition to the chamber’s role in representi­ng Fife business interests across all sectors.

General manager Stuart Douglas said: “The tourism sector in Fife is a diverse and thriving industry.

“And with projects like the fantastic Queensferr­y Crossing adding to the area’s prestigiou­s, globally-recognised credential­s visitors to Fife are expected to continue to rise.

“The hotel has been a member of Fife Chamber for a number of years and since my joining in May 2017 I have seen first-hand the advantages and benefits the chamber membership provides.”

Fife Chamber president Peter Southcott said: “Fife is a phenomenal location to visit and to do business.

“We are surrounded by world-renowned landmarks, structures and tourist attraction­s – some with historical significan­ce, others brand new – but all making Fife’s tourism potential the envy of other regions.”

The hotel joins existing partners including Amazon, BIG Partnershi­p, Diageo, Edinburgh Airport, Fife College and Fife Group.
