Call for Stagecoach bus route to take in St Andrews Hospital

A call has been made for an East Neuk bus service to be rerouted to take in St Andrews Community Hospital.

East Neuk and Landward councillor Bill Porteous has urged Stagecoach East Scotland to make the alteration, following a recent consultation on services subsidised by Fife Council.

He said: “This is the only public service available to those who live from Anstruther round to Kingsbarns to St Andrews.

“My request is that the 95 to and from St Andrews bus station changes its route via St Andrews Community Hospital, the pharmacy, surgery, podiatrist, Morrison’s, Aldi and Marks & Spencer.”

The findings of the consultation will be published in May.
