STREET VENDOR OF THE YEAR

-

Artisana Vintage Mobile Tea Room

Artisana was born out of a passion for baking, a love of incredibly fine ingredients and the need for adventure.

Owner Ailsa loves driving around Scotland with her beautiful 1970 Citroen H van, Fleur, filled with cakes and artisan baked goodies, offering something truly unique and high quality to those who visit.

Wild and Smoky

Wild and Smoky is a mobile restaurant, cooking and serving the best of Scottish ingredients in a ’low ’n slow’ barbecue method which originated in the Deep South.

They dry-rub locally-grown meat, which is slow cooked over Scottish sustainable hardwood. They also cure and smoke their own pastrami and local game.

Their dishes are served with their own sauces, ’slaws and sides, in compostable packaging.

Lov Events

Started in 2012 by two young entrepreneurs who wanted to change the face of event catering, Lov Events now has numerous units and offers event catering, bars, stretch tents and bespoke pop-up outlets.

Their philosophy remains the same as it was then – source the best local produce and offer delicious, innovative food, served with their trademark ‘Lov’.

The Cheesy Toast Shack

The Cheesy Toast Shack provides locally sourced and ethically produced grilled cheese sandwiches across Scotland and the UK.

It celebrates the abundance of high quality Scottish produce, and takes it on the road, as well as serving every weekend at Kingsbarns in Fife. In two years the Cheesy Toast Shack has won multiple awards, and were asked to trade at Glastonbury last year – its biggest accolade to date.
