Adam Newth – The Tayberry

Inspired by his love of food and a desire to raise Tayside’s culinary profile, chef/proprietor Adam Newth opened The Tayberry in 2015, overlookin­g the mouth of the Tay in Broughty Ferry, Dundee. Adam has won accolades including Scottish Young Chef of the Year, Scottish Seafood Chef of the Year and Scottish Young Chef of the Year 2016 at the CIS Excellence Awards.

Garry Watson – Gordon’s Restaurant

Garry Watson is chef/proprietor of Gordon’s Restaurant at Inverkeilo­r, one of Scotland’s best fine dining establishm­ents. At 26 Garry became the youngest winner of Scottish Chef of the Year, and has earned the restaurant three AA Rosettes, won the AA Restaurant of the Year 2012 and Scottish Restaurant of the Year 2012. His modern seasonal cooking is influenced by classic techniques, and he uses top quality local ingredient­s.

Paul Newman – Thyme at Errichel

After a long internatio­nal career, Paul Newman brings his passion for food to this restaurant on a working farm outside Aberfeldy.

Paul’s cuisine gives local produce an internatio­nal twist. His menu changes weekly, and his imaginatio­n and flair have already been recognised in the two AA Rosettes Thyme at Errichel has earned.
