-

Euan Welsh

Euan wanted to be a chef from a young age. At the end of his school years he decided to pursue his dream and carry out a course at SRUC Elmwood. He completed four years of Professional Cookery including his HNC and HND, and then he got a job at Restaurant Andrew Fairlie, Gleneagles Hotel, as a commis chef. “I feel I have achieved my goal of becoming a chef and will now constantly continue to better myself,” he says.

Jason Miles

Jason Miles is owner of Scran Fitness Food, one of Scotland’s leading healthy food brands.

Since February 2017 Scran has produced more than 50,000 healthy meals for its customers in Tayside and Fife.

From humble beginnings in a domestic kitchen to a high street store in Dundee’s city centre a year later, Scran intends to continue the growth, and keep offering delicious healthy meals.

Lewis Pickett

Lewis joined the WeeCOOK crew straight from school in 2016 aged 16. He is now in the final few months of his chef apprenticeship at the WeeCOOK Kitchen based at the Broughty Golf Club in Monifieth. During his apprenticeship he has gone from strength to strength and has been recognised by his lecturers for being a fast learner and supporting other students in his classes.

Calum Runciman

The White Goose in Dundee has youth on its side. The relatively new restaurant overlooking the Tay is the labour of love of Calum Runciman, 23, who has created a venue to suit many occasions. The primary focus is on vodka, in particular Scottish-produced vodka, and the drinks list showcases it. A menu created by Calum, a chef, completes the picture.
