Chance for Violet to cut Dokens’ lead
North League leaders North End head to Dufftown hoping their GA Engineering Cup clash goes ahead at the fourth time of asking. The venue has been changed to Nicol-Togneri Park in Elgin.
Other than Michael Stewart they are at full strength.
That gives Violet a chance to cut the Dokens’ lead to four points by winning at Arbroath Vics. It would be a surprise if they didn’t given they are at full strength and facing a side beaten by teams beneath them in their last two outings.
Vics are without Kyle Findlater, Dean Harvey and Jonathan Bastow.
Kinnoull are still challenging for a promotion spot and should be at full strength for the trip to a Newburgh side who have new manager Scott Hudson in charge for the first time.
Previously with Strathmiglo, Hudson returned to his former club last weekend to bring in two midfielders and two strikers included in today’s squad
There is a Perthshire derby at Farquharson Park with Scone Thistle taking on Luncarty. Ben Moffat and Max Avolio return for the hosts but Calum Black and Gary Mackie are still sidelined.
Luncarty will be without suspended goalkeeper Gordon Chalmers so Jordan Kinnon continues to deputise, but everyone else is available
After back-to-back wins East Craigie are hopeful of clocking up a third when they entertain Lochore Welfare, but are without Robert Smith (knee).
The Fifers include experienced midfielder Lee Reid, who has been signed on loan from Hill of Beath, and also welcome back James Adam, Aaron Wood, Gary Ingles and Liam Valentine.
Harp welcome Blairgowrie to Downfield Park. Michael Gormley still has several injury concerns in addition to the suspended Connaire Connelly, so will make a late selection.
Blair are minus the services of Robbie Hood and Rudi Brown, but Gordon Pirie returns.
Coupar Angus include new signing Jamie Oldfield, a central defender who has moved up from Wales, in their squad for the visit of Brechin Vics, Alex Gibb is still suspended.
Brechin Vics expect to be on their usual lines
Forfar Albion, left idle, have signed experienced keeper Chris Hutchison who was previously with Kirrie Thistle.
