Caledonian Marts Ltd, Stirling, had forward 861 store and breeding cattle and 595 store sheep at their fortnightly sale.
The judge was Andrew Morton Jr of Lochend, and his champion was a Blonde D’Aquitaine heifer from 42 Mannerston Holdings which realised £1,100.
The reserve, a Limousin bullock making £1,120, came from Glenstockadale.
A pen of four Lim bullocks from Lammerview made £1,110 and a pen of four heifers from Keirsbeath Farms made £890.
Beef bullocks sold to 311ppk for Lim from Wester Whin to ave 222p and to £1,380 for Simmentals from Loanrigg.
Heifers to 303p for Simm from Grianan Croft to ave 218p and to £1,210 for an AberdeenAngus from Bowridge.
Young bulls to 256p for Charolais from Kilmeny and to £960 from Greenwells.
Black and White bullocks sold to 155p from Gryfeside and to £700 from the same farm.

Also sold were 595 store and breeding hoggets. Top price of the day went to Scoor for a pen of Cheviot ewe hoggets at £87.
