COFFEE EVENT Zest Cafe, a speciality coffee shop and social enterprise in St Andrews’ South Street, is holding a fundraiser today for Project Waterfall as part of UK Coffee Week.

Cafes all over the UK are holding events this week and raising funds to get better water and education facilities into coffee-growing communitie­s.

Machina Espresso Specialty Coffee Roasters are holding a special tasting at 6.30pm. Entry is £3. FOLK CLUB Dalgety Bay Folk Club presents Schiehalli­on at 8pm tomorrow in Woodside Hotel, Aberdour. CRICKET CLUB Freuchie Cricket Club’s spring coffee morning will be held on Saturday in the David Christie Pavilion from 10am until noon.

Entry is £2 for a coffee and home-baked treats, with the usual stalls. All are welcome. DIABETES GROUPS The diabetes voluntary groups in Fife are providing an informatio­n stall in Morrison’s on Kirkcaldy Esplanade from 10am to 4pm on Saturday.

A range of leaflets about diabetes and local Fife groups will be available. CUPAR ARTS Cupar Arts hold a public general meeting at 11am on Saturday in Cupar YMCA.

The group will be talking about the past year, discussing plans for an event and recruiting volunteers. COFFEE MORNING Fife branch of Parkinson’s UK is holding a coffee morning in Cupar Corn Exchange on Saturday. Doors will be open between 10am and 12pm with stalls offering tea, coffee and cake.
