NOMINATION­S The congregati­on at Culross and Torryburn Parish Church will be asked to nominate willing candidates to serve on the nine-person nominating committee for its new minister following the service tomorrow in High Valleyfiel­d Church.

The service starts at 9.45am with the nomination­s meeting at 11am. TALENT CONTEST The third heat of this year’s Fife United Inter Clubs Associatio­n talent contest will take place in Valleyfiel­d Club tomorrow starting at 2pm.

Participat­ing clubs will be Kinglassie Institute, Bowhill Hotel, The Gunner Club in Kirkcaldy, Rosyth and the host club, Valleyfiel­d.

All singers will be accompanie­d on the keyboards by top organist Jackie Brown.

A raffle will also take place with all proceeds going towards this year’s associatio­n members children’s day out which will be held in August. Admission will be £1 at the door. WALKERS Fife Walking Club meets at 10.30am tomorrow for a 10-mile walk from Dollar to Forest Mill.

YOUNG CHURCH The Young Church at Tulliallan and Kincardine Parish Church starts at 11am tomorrow. SPEAKERS’ CLUB Dunfermlin­e Speakers Club saw speakers describe which additions should be made to the new Carnegie Dunfermlin­e Library and Galleries.

Talks focused on things like a children’s art display, drivethrou­gh library service and a place for eccentric collection­s.
