Bleachers plan to prevent a Dundee whitewash

-

The big game in Dundee this weekend is at North End Park, where first placed North End entertain second placed Violet.

Violet meanwhile will be looking for the points to keep Luncarty out of the second promotion place. Both sides are expected to be at full strength.

Luncarty are the only side that can prevent a Dundee whitewash at the top of the league.

They go in to the game at Forfar Albion as big favourites although Luncarty boss Jonny Kelly won’t take anything for granted. Kelly should have a full squad available. The hosts meanwhile are without Derek Johnstone but are able to add Paul Kerr to the squad.

Kinnoull are without Tom Whyte who was injured last weekend at Newburgh but he is the only absentee as Alan Cameron’s side face Brechin Vics at Tulloch Park.

Vics have had an incredibly unlucky season with injuries and with 11 players on the injured list, manager Phil McGuire is struggling to put a full team on the park let alone have a squad.

East Craigie have won eight league games on the bounce and will be favourites to make it nine as they welcome Coupar Angus to Craigie Park. East Craigie have a full squad to choose from following their midweek win over Forfar Albion. Coupar Angus also have a full squad available for the trip

Last weekend Lochore Welfare made the trip to Coupar Angus, this weekend they travel again this time to Blairgowrie.

The hosts were well beaten last weekend at home to Dundee North End and manager Mark Brash will be looking for a much improved performance.

Newburgh take on Scone Thistle at East Shore Park. Thistle boss Derek Lawson will be looking for three points to cement their position in the top five. Both sides should be at full strength.

South League whipping boys Kirkcaldy YM would love to end the season on a high as they complete their campaign at home to Harthill Royal.

Lochgelly Albert manager Steven Kowbel is another one who may benefit from the teams leaving for the East Of Scotland League.

Although it is feasible Albert could finish much higher anyway should they win their games in hand.

Kowbel is not short of problems however after his injury list was extended in midweek with the addition of Josh McPhie who dislocated his shoulder against Kirkcaldy but he is looking for his side to build on two good performances against Armadale Thistle and Kirkcaldy YM as they take on one of the departing teams Easthouses Lily MW

Oakley manager Richard Fox is only without long term injured Tony Doubleday as they host Craigroyston.
