Care worker faces hearing into abuse allegations
A Fife care home worker is to appear before a hearing after being accused of verbally abusing residents.
Donna Stevenson will face a panel from the Scottish Social Services Council during a five day hearing later this month.
The care assistant is alleged to have behaved inappropriately at work towards the residents of Headwell House in Dunfermline, and is also accused of failing to respect their dignity and of using derogatory language towards them.
Stevenson faces a further charge of using the same type of language towards a colleague.
The carer faces being sanctioned if her fitness to practice is found to be impaired by the care watchdog.
