WETLANDS WANDER Greener Kirkcaldy are to host a Wetlands Wander in Dunnikier Park today between 10.30am and 12.30pm.

Wetlands are a vital part of the natural world, from rivers to ponds and marshes, and local expert Tony Wilson will help visitors to explore the environmen­t.

The walk is free, but booking is required as spaces are limited.

View displays of musketry, pike and cannons supported by the activities of the camp tradesman and camp followers.

The event is included in the castle’s admission price and free for Historic Scotland members. TOOL LIBRARY The Ecology Centre at Kinghorn Loch is launching its new tool library sharing service between 1 and 5pm tomorrow.

Anyone who is fed up buying tools they only need to use once or twice will love the new service which will see tools that have been donated, saved from landfill and refurbishe­d by the Tool Shed volunteers available to be borrowed.

The range of tools includes building and gardening tools, car maintenanc­e tools, carpentry tools and ladders. CHAMPAGNE BRUNCH One of the social events of the summer season comes to St Andrews later this week when The Adamson host their annual Veuve Clicquot Champagne Brunch.

The restaurant on South Street will host the event tomorrow between 11.30am and 3.30pm.

Tay FM presenter and DJ Callum Gallagher will provide the entertainm­ent at the party and play a DJ set for guests throughout the afternoon. CIVIC SOCIETY The next guided heritage walk in Kirkcaldy Civic Society’s summer series takes place tomorrow.

The walk encompasse­s the Gallatown and Sinclairto­wn areas and commences from outside the Dining Rooms in York Place at 2pm.

All are welcome and the event concludes with refreshmen­ts.
