PRO GOLFER CRAIG DONNELLY ARRIVES AT CLUNY

-

Recently departed Balbirnie after 22 years and now concentrating on Cluny CDG and Ballumbie Castle (AGC), PGA professional golfer Craig Donnelly is offering advice on custom fitting for golf equipment and lessons for all levels, from beginners to international amateurs and professionals.

THE professional golfer, who was head professional at Balbirnie Park Golf Club for 22 years, now splits his time between Craig Donnelly Golf (CDG) at Cluny Activities and Angus Golf Centre (AGC) which launched at Ballumbie Castle Golf Course in Dundee in the spring.

Craig is passionate about teaching and passing on his expertise to golfers who are either experienced or new to the sport, and wanting to get the best out of their game. At both Cluny and Ballumbie, Craig and his team are on hand to offer one-to-one golf lessons, either on the driving range, on the golf courses, or in the on-site private studio, allowing golfers to perfect their game in a closed environment. They use the latest technology and equipment to service all golfing needs, including the market leading TrackMan golf simulator which helps deliver the best results for all levels of fitting and lessons.

At both sites there is a thriving junior section, and Craig is already seeing great promise in some of the young male and female players he is coaching.

He said: “My passion is to see as many people enjoy this great sport which can be played by all people in many different formats. I love to see enjoyment the sport gives people and want my pupils and customers to trust my knowledge and passion to deliver what they need.

“My business also trains several young golfers to become PGA professionals through the Birmingham University diploma degree. This is a three-year training course that involves learning all aspects of the business from sports science to business studies.”

It’s not just lessons on offer, as Craig has built up a strong reputation for custom fitting, something he has been doing at Cluny since 2011. In fact, the award-winning fitter was named Ping Golf Fitter of the Year in 2016 and Mizuno Golf Fitter of the Year in 2012.

Meanwhile, the pro shop at Cluny offers a fantastic range of equipment and is regarded as “one of the best stocked” golf shops in Fife! With all the leading golf equipment brands including Titleist, Taylor Made, Callaway, Ping and Mizuno, the shop also stocks an extensive range of clothing and accessories from names like Hugo Boss, Galvin Green, Under Armour, Footjoy, Ecco, Adidas, Nike and Us Kids.

This has been replicated at Ballumbie Castle in Dundee at the pro shop called Angus Golf Centre (AGC).

So whether you want to learn foot golf, disabled golf, junior golf or beginner golf or are an amateur or trainee professional wishing to improve, Craig Donnelly can assist. Get in touch with the pro golfer at CDG or AGC (contact details below).
