Dundee City Council has admitted it is unsure when all areas of the city will have the correct bins after the roll-out of its flagship recycling scheme caused chaos for residents. In many areas new Eurobins, part of a recycling initiative, have been left uncollected for weeks, resulting in foul-smelling rubbish overflowing into the street. The council blamed delayed deliveries of the bins by manufacturers and, when asked, were unable to give a timeline for when all areas would have the correct bins.
