Prime lamb from South Flanders is champion at Stirling sale
United Auctions, Stirling, sold 4,008 prime sheep comprising 2,548 prime lambs selling to an average of 182.60p and 1,460 ewes and rams.
The champion at the West and Central Suffolk Club show of prime lambs came from South Flanders and sold for £110. Reserve champion came from Glenrig and sold for £85. Prime heifers sold to 260ppkg for a Limousin from Learielaw and to £1,616 for a Charolais from Easter Ochtermuthill. Prime bullocks sold to 245p for a Limousin from Balquharrage and to £1,732 for a Limousin from Greencraig .
