CARE HOME FETE Glenburnie Care Home in Leven is holding a summer fete on Sunday August 19 from 2-4pm.
All are welcome to go along and enjoy a barbecue, cake and candy, raffle, tombola, entertainment and facepainting among other stalls.
The event aims to help raise funds for the residents and any donations for the tombola or raffle can be handed in to the home at Scoonie Terrace.
PITTENWEEM PROJECT Pittenweem Community Craft Project, as part of Pittenweem Arts Festival, presents Hearts and Crafts at venue 48, Coastline Community Church, Session Street, Pittenweem, from Saturday August 4 to Sunday August 12, from 10am to 5pm.
A preview night will take place on Friday August 3 from 7-9pm.
Proceeds will go to the British Heart Foundation’s local branch and Pittenweem Fishermen’s Memorial Association.
TALENT CONTEST
The sixth heat of this year’s Fife United Inter Clubs Association talent contest took place in Valleyfield Club last Sunday and it attracted another good attendance.
Participating clubs were Kinglassie Institute, The Gunner Club, Bowhill Hotel, Rosyth Club and the hosts Valleyfield Club. The winner was Gunner Club whose singers were Rae Kelly and Isobel Paul. A number of other singers also entertained the audience.
The next heat is at Kinglassie Institute on Sunday August 26, starting at 2pm.
