Enterprise hub tenant moves on

-

The first tenant of Enterprise Hub Fife has left the Glenrothes offices to move to larger premises in the kingdom.

Software developer Kaber Helm has moved to the business incubator in Mitchelston Industrial Estate in Kirkcaldy to accommodate its growing team of software developers.

Enterprise Hub Fife opened 16 months ago and has enabled entrepreneurs and early stage businesses to take their first step into an environment through access to office space and hot desking.

Kaber Helm’s managing director Stewart Gray said: “When we discovered Enterprise Hub Fife, we had been working from home and holding team meetings in coffee shops or round the dining room table.

“We recognised this setup was slowing down our development process and we were looking for an affordable solution where we could get the team together as well as providing a professional environment to invite potential clients to.”

The hub is funded by the Tullis Russell Fife task force.

Pamela Stevenson, lead officer with Fife Council economic development, added: “Enterprise Hub Fife was established with a clear vision of firmly supporting Fife entrepreneurs and startup businesses with growth ambitions through the early stages to help springboard them on to a sustainable platform for growth.”
