Resurfacing work to start on A92
Drivers are being warned about roadworks on the A92 at Cowdenbeath.
The northbound off-slip will be subject to a £95,000 resurfacing work project.
The work will begin at 7.30pm on Monday and is scheduled to take place over three nights.
It is due for completion by 6.30am on Thursday.
For safety reasons, there will be a complete closure of the slip road with a diversion to Lochgelly.
Traffic lights will also be used on the A909 Bridge Street in Cowdenbeath for surfacing and lining work at the top of the slip road.
The A92 will remain open throughout but one lane on the northbound carriageway will be closed to protect the workforce.
Consultation has taken place with local residents to make them aware of arrangements and to minimise any inconvenience.
Bear Scotland’s Andy Thompson said: “These works will repair a number of cracks, potholes and other issues which will improve the general condition and safety of the road for motorists.
“We’ve planned the slip road resurfacing to take place overnight for three nights to keep disruption to a minimum, and our teams will do all they can to complete the works as quickly and safely as possible.”
