GREENER KIRKCALDY Greener Kirkcaldy’s annual meeting will be held on Saturday August 18 as part of the group’s 2018 Too Good to Waste annual gathering, taking place from 10am to 1.30pm at the Adam Smith Theatre, Kirkcaldy.
There will be an update on their achievements and plans, as well as the election of the Greener Kirkcaldy management committee.
A range of speakers will explore how communities are working together to make waste useful by turning rubbish into treasures.
Anyone can attend, but only Greener Kirkcaldy members can vote in the election.

SUMMER FETE Willow House Care Home in Cellardyke is inviting members of the local community to its summer fete tomorrow.
It will be open from 10am to 4pm and will feature a variety of stalls, competitions and a barbecue, as well as the opening of a residents’ “pub”.
WALKING CLUB
Fife Walking Club meets at 10.30am tomorrow for a high level trek above Loch Turret, near the Famous Grouse distillery.
Walkers should meet at the car park at Loch Turret.
FLOWER SHOW Letham Flower Show will be held from 2pm tomorrow in the village hall.
Sections include vegetables, fruit, handicrafts, baking, jams, floral art, photographic and children’s.
FLOWER SHOW Cupar and District’s floral, horticultural and craft show will be held from 10am to 4.30pm tomorrow in the Corn Exchange.

CHORAL UNION Rehearsals for Dunfermline Choral Union begin on Monday at the Vine in Dunfermline.
The group will be rehearsing its spring concert programme which includes Sunrise Mass by Ola Gjeilo, Hoffman’s Consider the Lilies and pieces from John Rutter as well as music for its Christmas Concert.
Anyone who fancies joining can go along from 6.30pm on the night. No audition necessary.
