Jennifer Robson and Genna Delaney

Venue 20, Bruce’s Wynd, Pittenweem, until August 12

- JENNIFER MCLAREN

Dundee-based artist Jennifer Robson and jewellery designer Genna Delaney are showcasing their work this week as part of Pittenweem Arts Festival.

Jennifer is displaying drawings, pastels and oil paintings which are the result of a year’s meditative daily walks in the woods near her home in Fife along with some of her better-known works including her wildlife series, and riverscapes inspired by the Tay.

She spent the year investigating the woods – from the vivid greens to the first bee of spring – and fell in love with the rain as it changed the tree bark to a rich brown enhancing the lichen with a luminous quality.

Jeweller Genna – who recently created a pair of earrings for tennis coach Judy Murray – is exhibiting her contemporary creations and statement pieces with work inspired by the Fife coast and natural rock formations using silver, gold, palladium, platinum, Perspex, pearls and unusual gemstones.
