Falkland Traditional Music Festival

Having shifted from its usual spot at the end of June to this weekend, the Falkland Traditional Music Festival is back with a line-up that includes: The Gary Sutherland Band, Kevin and Ellen Mitchell, Allan Taylor, Margaret Bennett, Hamish Moore, Marie Fielding, Dave Husband and Forgaitherin.

The small and intimate festival set in the heart of Fife aims to promote and encourage traditional music and song through workshops, competitions and concerts.

Guests perform at the concerts as well as taking workshops and adjudicating at competitions.

The programme kicks off this evening with a ceilidh that gets the festival off to a swinging start.

Events take place at the Community Hall, Parish Church and Town Hall and tickets and competition entry forms are available from the Community Hall.
