Drone footage sends expectation soaring

-

New drone footage of V&A Dundee is likely to raise expectations yet further ahead of the £80 million museum’s opening next month. Also whetting the appetite – this time in a rather more literal sense – are details of the mouth-watering options that will be available in the attraction’s restaurant.

Certainly, these are exciting times for all involved with the flagship project.

Meanwhile, of course, we want to know what you think about V&A Dundee.

Our exclusive survey, available at thecourier.co.uk, closes at noon today.

Hundreds have already taken the opportunity to have their say and we look forward to revealing the results soon.

It has been a long road to get this far and, while the finishing touches are being added, it is hard to overestimate the importance of the coming months for not only the V&A but also the wider regeneration of Dundee which has become so synonymous with the museum.

No doubt there will be many high profile visitors from far flung places, but the ultimate success of the project will still depend on local people and local businesses.

As such it is good news indeed to see the museum’s restaurant relying so heavily upon local suppliers and local produce.

A cordial link between V&A Dundee and the wider area is precious – preserving it will be vital for years to come.
