FIFE DECORATIVE AND FINE ARTS SOCIETY:

The first lecture of the season takes place tomorrow at 2pm in Cupar Corn Exchange.

The talk is titled “Foreigners in London 1520-1677 -– the artists who changed the course of British art”.

DUNFERMLIN­E FOLK CLUB: Dunfermlin­e Folk Club is hosting Mark and Cindy Lemaire on Wednesday in the Glen Tavern, Pittencrie­ff Street, at 8pm.

ST ANDREWS: Friends of the Byre are showing the epic film Lawrence of Arabia in the Byre Theatre on Wednesday at 6pm.

Tickets are available in advance from the box office or on the night at a price of £9/£10 which also includes refreshmen­ts. Open to all.

FLORAL ART CLUB: Cupar Floral Art Club’s next meeting will take place in the Corn Exchange at 7pm

on Thursday. John McDonald from Auchterard­er will give a floral demonstrat­ion titled Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.

New members are welcome.

CULROSS FETE:

A meeting to discuss Culross Church’s input to the recent Culross Fete is to be held on Thursday at 10.30am in High Valleyfiel­d Church.

All wishing to make comment are encouraged to attend.

CHRIST’S KIRK: Glenrothes Christ’s Kirk, Pitcoudie, is hosting this year’s McMillan Coffee Morning on Friday from 10am-noon.

As well as coffee and tea there will be a raffle and quiz, and lots of homebaking on offer.

VIEW STUDIO:

The View Studio in St Andrews is hosting an open day on Saturday from 11am.

Attendees will be able to try yoga, pilates and Nordic walking for free.
