United Auctions in Stirling sold 231 sheep at the annual Lleyn Sheep Society show and sale, selling to a top of 650gn for a shearling ram from H Goldie, South Bowerhouses.

Females sold to a top of £170 twice, for the champion pen of gimmers from South Bowerhouses and again for a pen consigned by James Goldie.

Caledonian Marts Ltd in Stirling sold 1,785 prime lambs, ewes and tups, with 1,104 prime lambs ave 168p (-7.3p on the week, +6p on the year).

Top price to A Smith, Allanview for a Texel at £105. Top ppk went to I Campbell, Meikle Seggie, at 205.2ppkg for a pair of 41kg Beltex.
