Caledonian Marts sold 189 cattle comprising 95 prime bullocks, heifers and young bulls and 94 OTM cattle. Heifers sold to 260p (twice) for Limousins from D Dickinson, Brockwoodlees, Canonbie, purchased by HA Black & Sons, Butchers, Stirling, and W W Wales Wholesale, Kilmarnock, and to £1,780 from Brockwoodlees purchased by HA Black & Sons. Bullocks sold to 260p for a Limousin, again from Brockwoodlees, purchased by G Kirk & Son, Butchers, Denny, and to £1,595 for a Limousin from J H & NT Turnbull, Meadowend, Clackmannan.
Bulls sold to 215p from J Gibb, Giffordland, Dalry.

Dairy cows averaged 92p and sold to 118p from D Morton, Hayston, Kirkintilloch, and to £940 from AWJ & DA Broome, Solsgirth, Dollar. Bulls sold to 123p for a Limousin from A Kennedy, Seggersdean, Haddington, and to £1,400 for the same beast.
