MILNATHORT. Jean Paterson presided and thanked members who had entered the Kinross Show, Pat Pilgrim gained most points for Milnathort and was presented with a trophy.

GATESIDE. President Mrs Agnes Allan introduced Kirsty McLellan who gave a talk and demonstrat­ion on decoupage.

Competitio­ns: Potato scones – 1 Grace Cronie, 2 Sheila Penman, 3 Agnes Allan; something new from something old – 1 Anne Hutton, 2 Agnes Allan, 3 Sheila Penman; flower of the month – Sheila Penman. Lynda Mitchell proposed thanks.

KILCONQUHA­R AND COLINSBURG­H. Elizabeth Goodall welcomed vistors from Cameron who entertaine­d.

FALKLAND. Secretary Teresa Kilbane introduced Gillian Skene from Cleish who demonstrat­ed making jewellery. Competitio­ns: necklace – 1 Fiona Fraser, 2 Penny Kilbane, 3 Jenni Young. Flower of the month – 1 Margo Brunton, 2 Margaret Stark, 3 Ann Corrigan.

The next meeting is our birthday party to be held on October 8 in the Lomond Hotel, Freuchie, at 7pm for 7.30pm. Money to be paid to Pat Kilbane beforehand.

KIRKFORTHA­R FEUS. Members visited The Beijing Banquet, where they enjoyed a lovely meal to celebrate the institute’s 94th birthday.

KILMANY. President Mrs Trail welcomed Margaret Whiteford who gave a cookery demonstrat­ion.
