Elie and Earlsferry History Society’s next event will start at 7.30 this evening in Elie Church Hall.

Graham Johnston will give a talk on the history of Earlsferry Golf Course.

COMMUNITY COUNCIL The first meeting for the newly elected members of North Glenrothes Community Council is taking place at 7 this evening in Collydean Community Centre.

Jane McCabe, who is a project manager for Alzheimer Scotland, will be the guest speaker.

LIBRARY WALK

Cupar Library will stage Walk On, for exercise, a chat about books and company, from 10am today. The theme of the free event will be the ’60s.

BOWLING QUIZ NIGHT Cupar Bowling Club’s quiz night starts at 7.15pm tomorrow in the club on Bowling Green Road.

SOUP AND SWEET Tulliallan and Kincardine Church Guild’s soup and sweet event runs from noon to 1.30pm on Saturday.

SPOOKY PLAY Greener Kirkcaldy has arranged spooky activities for five to 10-year-olds in Ravenscrai­g walled garden from 2pm to 4.30pm next Wednesday (October 17).
