MEETING:

Fife Pottery and Historical Society holds its next meeting tonight with an illustrate­d talk from Robin Jones on Scottish ceramic teapots. The meeting will be in St Bryce Kirk, Kirkcaldy, at 7.30.

COFFEE MORNING:

The East Neuk Group of Macmillan Cancer Support will be holding a coffee morning in Pittenweem Church Hall today from 10-11.30am.

HERITAGE GROUP: David Wilson, a sixth generation blacksmith and world champion farrier from Balmullo, will recount his life story at Markinch Heritage Group’s next meeting at 7pm tomorrow in the 252 Memorial Hall, Markinch.

AMATEUR DRAMATICS: Kirkcaldy Amateur Dramatic Society will stage Dirty Dusting by Ed Waugh and Trevor Wood from Thursday to Saturday in the studio at Adam Smith Theatre.

KADS’ chosen charity for 2018, the British Heart Foundation, will receive a contributi­on from Friday’s performanc­e in memory of Ruth Mackay, Beth Webster and Jenny Horsburgh.

Tickets are available from members or the box office.

STAMP AND POSTCARD CLUB:

Kirkcaldy Stamp and Postcard Club is trialling two evening meetings this season in an effort to attract new members.

The first will be at Torbain Parish Church tomorrow from 7-9pm, when displays of stamps and postcards will be on show.

ROTARY TALK:

The Rotary Club of Kilrymont St Andrews heard from guest speaker Ed Heather-Hayes, developmen­t manager of Fife Coast and Countrysid­e Trust, who talked about the Fife Pilgrim Way.
