Police ‘increasingly concerned’ about missing Forfar man
People in Angus are being urged to search gardens, sheds, garages and outbuildings for a missing man.
Police Scotland is growing “increasingly concerned” for the welfare of 43-year-old delivery driver Raivo Ecetajs who has not been seen since Tuesday October 23 in Forfar.
Mr Ecetajs, who is a Latvian national was last seen at his home address in the town and his disappearance has been described as completely out of character.
He is described as 5ft 11 inches tall, of slim build, with short dark hair and could possibly be wearing a dark leather jacket.
Chief Inspector David McIntosh, area commander for Angus, said: “As more time passes we are growing increasingly concerned for Raivo and it is vital that we make contact with him to ensure he is OK as this is out of character for him.
“He is a delivery driver in the local area and appears to be well known.
“It is understood that he may have access to a number of vehicles, if anyone has any information as to these vehicles, please get in touch with us.
“I would ask people who live in the area to please check your gardens, sheds, garages and any other outbuildings.
“If you know his whereabouts or have any other information which you think could help us find him, please call 101 or speak with any police officer.”
