HISTORY SOCIETY
Elie and Earlsferry History Society will hold its AGM at 7pm today in Elie Church Hall.
Colin Martin, marine archaeologist, will present a talk on the Dutch East Indian vessel Kemmerland wrecked in Shetland.
All are welcome, with nonmembers asked for a donation.
POPPY DISPLAY
A plethora of poppies at Kingskettle Parish Church can be viewed today.
The sanctuary display for the Armistice centenary was created by a team of flower arrangers led by Helen Dall.
Visitors will be welcome from 10am to noon, with donations accepted for Poppy Scotland.
FOLK MUSIC Scottish folk singer Andrew Gordon will lead a live folk music session in Duffus Bowling Club, Cupar, at 7.30pm tomorrow.
COFFEE MORNING
St James the Great Scottish Episcopal Church in Cupar holds its annual fundraising coffee morning in the Corn Exchange on Saturday from 10am.
Stalls will include cake and candy, books, bric-a-brac, a lucky dip and a grand raffle. There will also be speciality stalls and an appearance by Cupar and District Pipe Band.
CHRISTMAS SALE A Christmas table sale with various crafts and bric-a-brac will be held from 11am to 2pm on Saturday in Cupar’s Old Parish Centre. At 6.30pm there will be a service in the centre for the Armistice centenary.
