CULROSS
The commemorative displays made up for Remembrance Day by the ladies of Culross and Torryburn Church, led by the Rev Liz Fisk, will remain on display in Culross Abbey and in High Valleyfield Church until Friday.
The displays involved many hours of labour in tribute to the area’s war dead and they have been very well received.
MUSICAL THEATRE Cupar Musical Youth Theatre presents High School Musical tomorrow, Thursday and Friday in Cupar Corn Exchange.
The show starts at 7.30pm each evening.
FOLK CLUB Dunfermline Folk Club is hosting Blueflint in the Glen Tavern, Dunfermline, at 8pm tomorrow.
The sound of Blueflint is defined by the close harmonies of Deborah Arnott and Clare Neilson whose voices are accompanied by intertwining banjos.
U3A
Cupar U3A’s next lecture will be held at 2pm tomorrow in the Baptist Church Hall.
Liz Ronaldson will give a talk on the history and manufacture of soap featuring explosives, orangutans and Sumatran tigers.
MUSIC SOCIETY
A quartet of young Scottish singers, Scozzesi, are due to perform at Kirkcaldy Music Society’s next event tomorrow evening.
It will be held at 7.30 in the Old Kirk, Kirkcaldy, and tickets will be available at the door.
HISTORICAL SOCIETY Dunfermline Historical Society will hear an illustrated talk from Bruce Keith on bridgescapes at its meeting on Thursday.
Doors open at 7pm at Abbey Church Hall, Abbey Park Place, for a 7.30pm start. All welcome.
COMMUNITY COUNCIL Townhill Community Council will meet at 7pm on Thursday evening in the village’s community centre.
SPORTS COUNCIL
East Fife Sports Council is holding a fundraising quiz night from 6.45pm on Friday in Cupar Rugby Club, Duffus Park.
