Paws for thought at memorial
Alex Abbots, Rowena Roseberry and Bert the golden retriever walk through a puddle in front of the Armed Forces Memorial as hundreds of dogs and their owners attend the National Memorial Arboretum’s annual Paws for Remembrance event in Alrewas, Staffordshire.
Supported by PDSA, the day provides an opportunity to explore the 150-acre site and also highlights the memorials that commemorate the service of animals including the Army Dog Unit memorial.
