CIVIC SOCIETY Kirkcaldy Civic Society’s next evening talk is at 7.30 tonight in the Old Kirk, Kirkcaldy.
Laragh Quinney, maps reading room manager at the National Library of Scotland, will discuss discovering historical maps of Kirkcaldy.

The kirk session of Culross and Torryburn Church meets at 1.30pm today in High Valleyfield Church.
HISTORY GROUP Dunfermline Historical Society meets at the Abbey Church Hall, Abbey Park Place, tonight.
A brief AGM starting at 7.30 will be followed by speaker Donald Smith, with a talk entitled Ye Jacobites by Name. Visitors are welcome for a £3 entry fee.

Cupar Bowling Club is holding a prize bingo at 7.30pm tomorrow in the Bowling Green Road club.
MESSY CHURCH Cupar Messy Church will be held on Saturday in the Old Parish Centre from 3pm to 5pm.
OPEN AFTERNOONS Greener Kirkcaldy is holding open afternoons at its training garden and orchard in Ravenscraig walled gardens to let the public see what is happening and get advice and inspiration for their own gardens.
They will run on Saturdays from 1.30pm to 3.30pm on February 23, March 30, April 27, May 25 and June 29.
