Kelty look to kick on after Cargill departs

Kelty Hearts’ 100% Lowland League record ended last weekend at the hands of Cumbernaul­d Colts and manager Barry Ferguson will be wanting his side to start again as they travel to Victoria Park to face Vale of Leithen.

Record scorer Stuart Cargill has now left the club for Dundonald Bluebell but Ferguson’s squad still has plenty of goals in it.

Ferguson is expected to have the same squad available with the addition of Murray Carstairs who missed last week’s defeat through suspension.

Hill of Beath have signed Joe Kinninmont­h from Junior side Lochore Welfare and the striker comes into Kevin Fotheringh­am’s squad for the East of Scotland Premier League trip to Blackburn United.

It is a welcome addition to the Haws squad with the manager having to manage without Stuart Hall, Russel Grierson, Kevin Conners, Rikkie Dair, Ricky Patrick, Steven Peggie and Greig Smith, in addition Joe Kirby and Lewis Elder are doubtful.

Crossgates Primrose face Musselburg­h Athletic at home and manager Alan Campbell should have the same squad available that thrashed Ormiston 5-0 in the Qualifying Cup last weekend.

Dundonald Bluebell suffered a heavy defeat at Auchinleck Talbot in their Scottish Cup replay last weekend and look to bounce back against Penicuik Athletic at Moorside Park.
