Ness’s men determined to clip Rose

Kirkcaldy & Dysart are in third position in the Premier League South, a point behind leaders Stoneyburn with a game in hand, and manager Craig Ness must be delighted by the start.

This weekend the Fife side travel to face Linlithgow Rose. Ness’s side are without Jason Nouri, Ben Brown, Konnor Lindsay, Chris Price and Connor Kirton, but Ronnie Martin, Scott Arbuckle and Dylan Hunter are back.

Struggling Lochgelly Albert, who have lost all five games, face Sauchie at Gardiners Park. Manager Andy Healy will leave his selection late with a number of players carrying injuries.

Newburgh will be wanting to bounce back from last weekend’s defeat to Kirkcaldy & Dysart as they host Bo’ness United at East Shore Park.

The visitors sit just a point behind Scott Hudson’s side after a very encouragin­g start to their first season in the Junior ranks. The Newburgh boss expects to have the same squad that lost last time out.

Rosyth went down 3-2 at Sauchie Juniors last time out and will looking to return to winning ways as they host another of the new boys, Syngenta, at t he Fleet Grounds.

The Fife side have the same squad on duty that travelled to Clackmanna­nshire last weekend.

In Premier League North, Coupar Angus host Blairgowri­e and have this week added to their squad with Dylan Higgins and Blaine Duncan, who both come into the squad that was thrashed 7-0 at East Craigie last week.

Blairgowri­e head to Foxhall Park just two points behind leaders East Craigie following a 2-0 win at home to struggling Forfar Albion last weekend. Blair boss Mark Brash is without Robbie Hood who is working.

There is a Dundee derby at Glenesk Park as Violet face leaders East Craigie.

The visitors have four wins and a draw from their five games but must do without Conan Howett and Liam Doyle who are on holiday.

Lochee Harp manager Michael Gormley is still seriously hindered by an extensive injury list as they welcome Arbroath Vics to Downfield Park.

Strugglers Forfar Albion are at home to Brechin Vics.
