This Saturday, 23rd November, sees the Morris Leslie Classic Vehicle Auction take place at Errol Airfield, Perth. With over 150 top brand classic vehicles going up for auction, even this cold weather won’t keep away the classic enthusiast­s with an estimated 3,000 people expected to attend. A great selection of vehicles are available including Vintage, Retro and Modern classics. Top brands feature such as: Austin Healey, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Rolls Royce, Bentley, Porsche and Mercedes. The top lots in this auction are 3 breath-taking Jaguar E-Types, a stunning red 1969 Jaguar E-Type 4.2 2+2 coupé, a 1968 Jaguar E Type 2+2 in striking Blue and a rare, matching numbers 1969 Jaguar E-Type 4.2 Series 2 convertibl­e, perfect for those summer days everyone is dreaming of at this time of year. The Jaguar E-Type was once described by Enzo Ferrari as “The most beautiful car ever made” and these fine examples are certainly living up to that descriptio­n! Less vintage and more fast and furious, a show stopping 1980 Porsche 911 in Viper Green is going under the hammer. A car with a winning history, this vehicle took part in the Highland Speed Championsh­ips, taking home the title of 2012 Scottish Sprint Champion. Fully road legal and with a current MOT, this Porsche is sure to turn a few heads and cause a battle between the bidders.
