A Monty Don.

A To be a marine biologist.

A My husband.

A Renowned gardener Beth Chatto, and US actor Christopher Lloyd.

A Tell my family.
Q If you could rule for a day, what would be the first thing you would do?
A Turn the clock back to being 35!
Q Tell us something about yourself that most people don’t know?
A I speak Italian (rather badly!).
Q Favourite holiday destination?
A The Hebrides.
Q What was the last book you read?
A I Capture the Castle by Dodie Smith.
Q What advice would you give to your younger self?
A Don’t waste time worrying about things you can’t change.
Q What are you proudest of?
A My children.
Q If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
A Porridge. I don’t like it much but it would keep me alive!

A Mature with hints of citrus.

A My garden.

A A bird killed on my window.

A Revolver by the Beatles.
Q If you could go back to any point in history, what would it be?
A Pictish times. I would love to know more about them.

A Spin or knit.

A My childhood home.

A Too many to mention.

A Not knowing my grandmother better.

A A friend who works tirelessly for charity.

A Donald Trump.

A Going to boarding school.

A My parents (in spite of them sending me to the above!).

A Reading under the bedclothes!

A I would try.
