Old dog, new trick
Lockdown life has given us all a taste of social isolation. But for many people such as those with hearing issues, isolation is the rule rather than the exception. Plucky Army veteran George Greig feared he would have difficulty communicating with care workers at the Pitlochry care facility he calls home now that mask-wearing is compulsory among staff.
So, at the ripe old age of 98, George has determined to learn sign language in order to keep the conversation going. He is an example to us all.
