Palace confirmed for drive-in show

A new drive-in show to support the arts and bring performance back to Perthshire has been confirmed.

Hosted by local theatre production company, Rosie Glow Productions, Revival – a show featuring a range of performers – will be held at Scone Palace.

Rosie Glow was set up earlier this year by a trio of sisters, Rohanne, 27, and 24-year-old twins Victoria and Harriet Compson-Bradford, from Kinrossie.

The sisters launched the production company in response to the impact of lockdown on their lives and careers.

Harriet said: “Working in the arts, we’ve witnessed the effects of the pandemic on the arts industry as a whole.

“We want our show Revival to play a part in getting theatre back up and running.

“We know that the industry will not only survive post Covid-19, but it will thrive as long as we get momentum behind supporting the arts. We hope Revival will show that theatre is not dying, we just have to find new ways to access it.”

Revival will feature performances from vocalists, magicians and dancers, including Scottish comedian and singer Clark Stewart.

The show is due to be held during the last three weekends of August.

Some of the profits will be donated to arts charities as part of efforts to support the entertainment industry during the pandemic.

The show will be set up to adhere to current social distancing guidelines. Cars will remain two metres apart and there will be no interval, to reduce the number of people being out of their cars at the same time.

Performances will be set up in such a way that only a few performers will be on stage at any given time and it will be choreographed to allow for social distancing to take place.

Rosie Glow was set up in the early stages of lockdown, after the pandemic ground the sisters’ careers to a halt.

Rohanne has been on stage since she was 12 years old and went on to perform on cruise ships across the world.

Victoria performs across the UK, having gained her undergraduate degree at East 15 Acting School.

Harriet, whose background is in biomedical science, is now an entrepreneur.
