Hooper header keeps Kelty’s perfect record

Kelty Hearts are the only Lowland League side with a 100% record as Barry Ferguson’s side moved into second place with a 1-0 win at Alliance Park against Caledonian Braves.

The only goal came after just 12 minutes when Scott Hooper powered home a header from a corner.

Stuart Cargill scored the first after 16 minutes before Barr y Sibanda marked his return to the club four minutes later.

Callum Strang made it three and, right on halftime, Sibanda scored his second. Lewis McKenzie made it 5- 0 before the Fife side conceded a stoppage time consolatio­n.
