SQQ lambs (1,014) averaged 198p per kg (-15p on the week).

Cast ewes and rams (511) averaged £94.44 for heavy ewes, which topped at £162 for a Texel from M Jack, Carriston, Star of Markinch. Export ewes averaged £56.05 selling to £87 twice for Cheviots from R & L Howatt, Kinnaird, Dairsie, and from P McLaren, Inch, Kincardine on Forth. Cast rams sold to £100 for Texels from M Jack, Carriston. New season lambs (350) averaged 189.4p (-5.6p) and sold to 204.5p per kg for a pen of 44.5kg TexX from Lochdhu, Nairn, and £93 for a pen of 53kg TexX from Balintore Farms, Fearn, and for a pen of 46.5kg SuffX from Torgorm, Conon Bridge, and for a pen of 50kg Texels from Lochdhu.

SQQ 36.5kg to 45.5kg (220) averaged 190.9p (-10.2p) per kg. Feeding sheep (50) sold to £147 for a Texel ewe from Woodside, Muir of Tarradale.
