Kelty have chance to move third with win over Cumbernaul­d

Kelty Hearts have the opportunit­y to close the gap on the teams above them in the Lowland League as their clash with Cumbernaul­d Colts at New Central Park is the only league encounter this afternoon.

With the other clubs in cup action, Hearts play one of their two games in hand and should they take the points, Barry Ferguson’s side could move in to third place, two points behind leaders East Kilbride with another game in hand.

In the East of Scotland League most teams are in cup action, leaving just two games involving local clubs, and both are in the First Division Conference B.
