Agony for Hogg as Scotland miss out on Nations Cup final

-

I would like to thank every member of NHS staff, from porter to midwife to consultant doctor, for their admirable and unwavering dedication and commitment during the pandemic. Each and every NHS worker is doing a magnificent job in the face of unprecedented adversity and ever-changing regulations. They truly are the unsung heroes of our generation! Gillian Webster, 45, office manager, from Gauldry.

Dave and Jenny Beatt, in their 70s, and their new puppy Max, Newport.

What a fantastic job the NHS are doing under so much pressure to keep everyone safe – it really is inspiring. I can only imagine how hard everyone is working and I am very grateful that we have access to such an incredible service, which should be provided with the necessary support. A massive thank you NHS!

Helen Collins, 41, sports scientist, Newport.

My wife works for the NHS and they are truly the ones on the front line during this pandemic, putting their lives at risk to help all of us. The clapping was deserved, but we need to properly support our nurses and doctors, because things are going to get worse before they get better. We need to keep staying safe, and hope the vaccines are available soon.

Graeme Robertson, 44, customer services, Dunfermline.

I can’t express how amazing the staff across NHS Tayside were during my pregnancy and safe delivery of my son throughout this pandemic. From reduced movement monitoring, ensuring my birth wishes were carried out, to placing me in a private room so I wasn’t taking more than a new baby brother home to my eldest son who lives with cancer.
