Online wellbeing meeting open to everyone

-

The public are invited to NHS Tayside’s virtual Living Life Well in the Community event to raise awareness of local mental health services.

The event on Thursday March 18 between 2pm and 5.30pm, will include a range of speakers, a Q&A session and community presentations.

Chief executive Grant Archibald will open the event. The strategy has been developed following a programme of work with more than 600 stakeholders, including people with lived experience, their families and carers along with voluntary and third sector organisations, NHS Tayside staff, local authorities and Police Scotland.

The event has been arranged by the mental health and wellbeing communications and engagement sub-group.

The group comes from a wide crosssection of people involved in mental health services including people with lived experience, staff, members from third sector organisations, patient advocacy groups and the Stakeholder Participation Group which was set up as part of the independent inquiry.

To attend the event, which is being hosted on Zoom, you just need to click on the link zoom.us/j/94805572385 from 2pm on Thursday March 18.

Members of the public will get the chance to participate during the event by asking questions using the Zoom Webinar Q&A feature and participant polls.

Recording of the sessions will be made available for those who can’t come along on the day.
